WITH MICHAEL IN JERUSALEM2015Single-channel video installation, 1min 53 sec, color, sound
A nearly two-minute long take, with a simple camera movement, unfolds in a suburb of Jerusalem. It moves between a character filmed from behind against an urban backdrop, before he turns around and takes the camera to film the author, also seen from behind, as he walks out of the frame.
A simple camera movement, an exchange of glances, a minimal gesture to escape the authority of the image, the constructed scene, or a fixed political position.
